Guerrero Construction Group is a licensed, owner-operated custom home builder in Auburn, Alabama. Jordy Guerrero has been on job sites since he was six, and he builds every home himself, from the first conversation to the last nail. His homepage did not say any of that. It opened on the company name and showed a single project, an equipment barn, with a note that more were coming soon.
I redesigned his homepage on my own time, because someone choosing who to trust with building their house needs more to go on than that.
For a job that costs what a custom home costs, people research hard before they reach out, and the site gave them almost nothing. The work section was nearly empty, there were no finished homes or reviews to look at, and the one thing that should be effortless, getting in touch, was buried. The phone number only appeared in the footer, so even someone ready to call had to go hunting for it. On a phone it was a long scroll of muted brown before anything happened.
I led with the builder and the work. The hero opens on his actual build, on video, with a headline that says what he does and where, and his number pinned to the top of every screen so calling or texting is one tap. I leaned into the part that sets him apart, that you work with Jordy directly, with his story and his license up front instead of buried on an about page. Services, process and recent work each got a clear section of their own, and the whole thing is built mobile first, because that is where this kind of decision actually happens.
Same builder, same work, finally shown like the high-end custom homes he builds. If your site is making a good business look unfinished, these are the tells, and I'm happy to look at yours.
Send me your current site or your idea. I'll tell you straight what I'd change and what it would cost, usually within a day.
